Recipe – Peanut Butter Cup Freezer Pie
Overall “Cooking” Time : 10 minutes or so.
Soundtrack: Dear And The Headlights – Drunk Like Bible Times.
The other night we were watching old The Voice episodes on the internet and after Trevon sang we got bored.
Then we found this little gem on Pinterest!
So we made a quick late night run to the local supermarket!
But our quick trip turned into 45 minutes of trying to find ‘healthier’ alternatives and smelling body wash and soap bars…
And we did go to a ‘chain’ supermarket and their ‘healthy’ rating is pretty low.
– vegan chocolate pie crust.
– sugar free jello pudding.
– sugar free cool whip.
and that’s about it…
We almost got a milk alternative but we’ve noticed that when your making stuff that calls for milk, it’s better to go with actual milk.
So we ended up with lactose free milk.
For some reason the vegan community has yet to nail down a proper alternative to dairy that you can truly just drop in place of milk for a recipe .
Oh, and cheese… we’ve tried all sorts of cheese and NONE of them taste very good at all.
Anywho, the recipe is pretty straight forward and really doesn’t chew up much time.
Just dump the Jello pudding stuff in a bowl.
Add about as much milk as the Jello box calls for and stir it up!
Now comes the Reese’s goodness.
YOU CAN’T HAVE CHOCOLATE!!
You’ll die and stuff.
Use the large peanut butter cups first.
Chocolate = Death!!
Chop up the peanut butter cups like so!
Go to bed and maybe we’ll give you some.
Mix up the Jello Pudding with the Cool Whip.
Then dump in the chopped up peanut butter cups and give it another stir.
Glop it all into the pie crust.
Chop up the Mini Peanut Butter Cups into nice chunks and sprinkle them on top.
Then throw it in the freezer for about 15 minutes or so.
NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!!!
You can’t have chocolate, you’ll die.
But you can have some dried up dog treats!
DO NOT give your dog chocolate!
And you’ll be sad.
